Introduction

Before beginning the install process for IntelliRoute Enhanced there are a few requirements before you begin. These steps are important and are required in order to proceed with a proper installation. 

1. Ensure the account you are logged on with has Admin privileges.

2. Ensure you have storage available: 1 GB for IntelliRoute Lite and 15 GB for IntelliRoute Enhanced

3. Ensure you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your system

Notice to Windows Server® Users:

If you are installing IntelliRoute with MileMaker® on a server that has Remote Desktop Services, Citrix, VMWare Horizon, or Parallels installed please follow the instructions below. Otherwise, you may skip this section.

1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator
2. Enter in the following command: 

change user /install

Command Prompt should report that the system is ready to install applications.
3. Begin the IntelliRoute install process; Once the installation is complete, you may return the server to "Execute" mode.
4. Place the system back into Execute mode using the following command:

change user /execute

Preparing for the Installation

Begin by downloading the ZIP archive provided by MileMaker support. You can request this file by opening a ticket, or by contacting us via email or phone at: Support@milemaker.com or 800-234-4069 option 3.

Unzip the EIR Lite or EIR Full Zip archive

• Highlight the downloaded Zip archive, then right click and select Extract All

• Select Extract in the bottom right. (This step may take a few minutes depending on your system)

Begin the Setup process

First - Navigate to the folder containing "Setup"
Highlight the setup application, then right click and select "run as administrator"

Next - Select next on the welcome page of the installer until it stops on the licensing screen.

Activating IntelliRoute with MileMaker

You will need to provide the startup code, your company name, and an email address the user the license will be registered to our support team to activate your product.

Select your Installation Directory

Ensure the directory you are choosing has at least 1 GB (Lite), or 15 GB (Full) of free space available for MileMaker to properly install. Once you have selected your preferred directory and location, click Next.

Confirm your Installation Selections

If the following options are correct, click Next to proceed.

Select a Program Folder

Select Next, no changes are required for this option. IntelliRoute will create its own folder name in your Programs Menu within the Start Menu.

Final Confirmation

Confirm that the directory is correct, and then select Next.

Installing

This step may take the longest and can take up to an hour or more. This depends on the speed of your hard disk, and processor. Please allow the software to complete its installation and do not interrupt the installer.

Install Complete
