Overview

MileMaker now supports custom avoid areas — geographic areas you define that routing will steer around. When you plan a route, MileMaker will avoid these areas wherever possible, giving you greater control over the paths your routes take.

Managing Avoid Areas

Avoid areas can be created and managed in two ways:

• MileMaker Web Application — define and manage your areas visually through the web app.
• MileMaker Web Service API — create, update, and remove avoid areas programmatically.

Areas you define are tied to your organization account and can be used by any user or API key in your account.
