MileMaker Web Services API

The MileMaker Web Services API gives developers programmatic access to MileMaker's industry-leading commercial truck routing and mileage capabilities. Whether you're building a Transportation Management System (TMS) integration or a custom logistics application, the API lets you embed precise, truck-legal routing directly into your workflow.

What you can do with the API:

• Search for locations by coordinates, street address, postal code, city, SPLC, or business listing across the US, Canada, and Mexico
• Plan optimized routes between multiple stops with support for vehicle type and load configuration
• Retrieve turn-by-turn driving directions, accurate mileage, traffic-based ETAs, and toll costs
• Run high-volume mileage lookups using the Batch API and Matrix API endpoints
• Support specialized use cases including hazmat routing and freight rate calculations

Sign up for a free trial at MileMaker - Free Trial or reach out to support@milemaker.com. Once you have an account, you can generate an API key from the MileMaker Web Portal and start making requests right away.

The API follows the OpenAPI specification and supports both OAuth 2.0 Bearer Token and API Key authorization, making it compatible with virtually any application type — mobile, web, or server-side.
